What the Tenjin SDK needs from you

From Tenjin's own documentation and the SDK's published manifest and package files.

  • Android permissions
Docs ask for INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID; <queries> for Meta install referrer.
  • Play Install Referrer
Yes; README tells developers to add com.android.installreferrer:installreferrer (plus AAID and App Set ID libs); the 2.0.2 POM also lists installreferrer 2.2 as a dependency.
  • ATT prompt (iOS)
App shows the prompt itself (ATTrackingManager.requestTrackingAuthorization) and calls connect() in the callback; Unity/RN wrappers provided; no documented SDK wait-timeout API.
  • Deep links
handleOpenURL for warm opens and scene-based apps (custom scheme or Universal Link) for re-engagement attribution; connectWithDeferredDeeplink to pass third-party deferred links; Tenjin does not host links.
  • SKAN
updatePostbackConversionValue wrapper incl. SKAN 4 coarse value and lockWindow; iOS 15+ advertiser postbacks documented.
