What the Linkrunner SDK needs from you

From Linkrunner's own documentation and the SDK's published manifest and package files.

  • Android permissions
Docs ask for INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE; the SDK already declares com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID (removable for Designed for Families apps).
  • Play Install Referrer
Docs do not ask the developer to add it; the SDK's Maven POM pulls in com.android.installreferrer:installreferrer as a dependency.
  • ATT prompt (iOS)
App adds NSUserTrackingUsageDescription and requests ATT itself if it wants IDFA; no SDK wait-for-ATT timeout is documented on the iOS page.
  • Deep links
Universal links (apple-app-site-association / Associated Domains), Android App Links (assetlinks.json + autoVerify intent-filter) and custom URI schemes; pass opened links to handleDeeplink; deferred deep link returned via getAttributionData.
  • SKAN
SDK registers and updates SKAN conversion values automatically (AdAttributionKit on iOS 17.4+, SKAdNetwork on 14.0-17.3); add Info.plist postback endpoints pointing to linkrunner-skan.com.
